Dover Meadows a quality first impression for Dover Bay community
The fall colors bring added beauty to the already gorgeous views at the Dover Bay Waterfront Community on Lake Pend Oreille.
The community makes a strong first impression with the Dover Meadows neighborhood, just one of several diverse neighborhoods in the development. It’s the first neighborhood you see going down Dover Bay Parkway, setting the tone for the beauty, amenities and conveniences offered throughout the community.
Just five home sites remain in the second phase of the low-maintenance neighborhood. A third phase is planned. Homeowner’s Association fees cover lawn maintenance, snow removal and many other amenities. Dover Meadows is comprised of cottage-style craftsman homes ranging from 1,300 to 3,000 square feet. HOA fees are $118/month for a worry-free lifestyle.
The neighborhood offers a wide range of floor plans from Peterson Homes of Sandpoint. Base prices begin at $279,000 and go up to approximately $400,000, and the builder can work with buyers on a variety of colors, home amenities and personal design choices.
While the Dover Bay Community has many luxurious vacation rental options, Dover Meadows is one neighborhood comprised mostly of full-time residents, said John Sletager, vice president for Dover Bay Development.
Dover Meadows, like most everything in the community, is within short walking distance to Lake Pend Oreille and Dover Bay’s Marina Village. The Village boasts a market, a year-round, outdoor heated swimming pool and spa, tennis and volleyball courts, playground equipment, boat launch, fitness center, and a newly expanded marina. Dover Bay added additional boat moorage over the summer in a variety of sizes, ranging from 20 to 26 feet. Seasonal and flexible rental plans are available — call (208) 263-5493 to reserve a space. Slip rentals are open to both residents and non-residents of Dover Bay.
The Marina Village’s popular restaurant, The Dish, is closed for the season but will offer wine and dine events this fall. The Nov. 11 wine dinner will feature wins from Michael David Vineyards. Visit The Dish on Facebook or call (208) 265-6467 for details.
The Homestead Barn is Dover Bay’s unique rental space for work events, weddings, birthday parties, family reunions and more. The Homestead Barn’s rental season has been extended into the fall, and the community is also booking dates into 2018. Call (208) 263-5493 to take a tour of the facility.
Dover Meadows is just three miles from Sandpoint and its diverse collection of restaurants, shops, arts and culture. Believe it or not, ski season is just around the corner, and Dover Bay is located 12 miles from the slopes of Schweitzer Mountain Resort.
The overall Dover Bay Community includes more than nine acres of beaches and parks, as well as nine miles of scenic walking and biking trails. The North Idaho paradise includes natural water features, protected canoe and kayak estuaries, inlet fishing opportunities, walking bridges and wildlife viewing areas. Prices points in the community cater to all styles and price points, with waterfront views, condos, custom home sites, rustic cabin offerings and much more.
A new model home is almost finished in Dover Meadows — a three bedroom, three bathroom home with a full upstairs loft and two-car garage. Call John Sletager or Marie Garvey at (208) 265-1597 to schedule a tour of the community and for more information on everything Dover Bay has to offer.
