One positive takeaway from the recent snowfall — it’s almost ski season.

Alongside its many internal amenities, the Dover Bay waterfront community also sits just 12 miles from premium skiing at Schweitzer Mountain Resort. At press time Schweitzer is slated to open next weekend.

In the meantime, Dover Bay is offering special pricing in the Bayside North and South neighborhoods — an area surrounded by spectacular North Idaho views and proximity to premium winter and summer activities.

Slashing prices for the month of November, Dover Bay is pricing lots in Bayside North starting at $59,000. Lots in the Bayside South neighborhood now start at $99,000. Currently there are eight available lots in Bayside North, and five lots in Bayside South.

Mature pine trees blanket both neighborhoods, adding a feel of seclusion to the area. Home sites are close to the unaltered natural beauty of Walson Wetland Park. The area also contains unrivaled views of the Selkirk and Cabinet mountain ranges, and wildlife like deer and many varieties of birds often visit the area.

As quiet and serene as the neighborhoods feel, Dover Bay’s Marina Village and beach access to Lake Pend Oreille are just a short walk away. The neighborhoods also connect to a 9-mile network of walking and biking trails, many of which run along the lakeside.

Building in either community comes with great flexibility. Owners can purchase the home site and hang onto it as long as they like. They can bring in their own builder, and owners also have 18 months to finish construction once started. Designs must follow neighborhood guidelines, but a variety of different styles are allowed. In Bayside North, homes are allowed to be as small as around 1,200 square feet.

Dover Bay provides many desirable amenities for owners and visitors to the area. The Marina Village includes a recently expanded marina with several moorage options for both residents and non-residents, a seasonal full-service restaurant, market, tennis and volleyball courts, fitness center, and an outdoor, year-round heated swimming pool and spa.

Vacation rental properties, including lakefront and parkside bungalows, allow those curious about the development to check out the various amenities offered by the Dover Bay Waterfront Community. They are also excellent rental options for skiers throughout the holiday season.

The Dover Bay Waterfront Community contains several types of neighborhoods, all with unique home styles and pricing options. There are single family homes, cabin-in-the-woods-style vacations properties, private waterfront opportunities, low-maintenance luxury condos, and more. The community includes an exceptional community beach and nine acres of parks.
