Cards top Wenatchee Valley

WENATCHEE, Wash. — Kayla Neumann had 28 kills and 11 digs as the North Idaho College volleyball team closed out the regular season with a 21-25, 25-20, 25-18, 13-25, 15-6 win over the Wenatchee Valley Knights in a Northwest Athletic Conference match on Wednesday night.

Halle Hess had 14 kills and seven digs, Macy DuCoeur eight kills and five digs, Haylee Templeton 34 assists for NIC (31-6, 15-1 NWAC), which competes in the NWAC Championships starting next Thursday at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center.

Wenatchee Valley finishes 17-17, 6-10.
