Connie G Weaver, 55

Connie G Weaver made her way to eternal happiness and rest on Nov. 2, 2017.

Connie was born in Edmonton, Alberta on June 27, 1962. She grew up in Iron River, Alberta, on the North Alberta Plains with her little sister, Janet, little brother, Jim, and her loving parents, Mary and Pete. Connie graduated in the top of her class at Bonnyville Centralized High School in 1980.

After high school Connie went to Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills, Alberta, where she met her soon-to-be husband, Ron Weaver. They were married in 1983 and moved to Calgary where Ron could finish his degree. Five years later, Connie gave birth to her daughter, Alecia Weaver. Connie then found her purpose and meaning in life — being a mother. There was nothing more important to her than being a good mother and she succeeded in that beyond all words. Her daughter was her pride and joy and she was so very proud of Alecia’s successes in life.

She enjoyed traveling to the ocean and going tidal pooling. Her other enjoyments were boating and her beloved dog Pyr. Once Connie had become a mother, she always needed someone to mother, and her Great Pyrenees dog fit the need perfectly when her daughter moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career.

Connie worked at Empire Airlines, where she started out as a temp and finished her work on earth as the payroll supervisor. She was excellent at her job as she relished the detail and perfection needed to do the tasks correctly. Connie was always a perfectionist and she could quietly sit and go through all the little details needed to do her job right, day after day.

Connie is survived by her husband, Ron Weaver; her beloved daughter, Alecia Weaver; her brother, Jim Wakulchyk; her sister, Janet Sproule and her parents, Mary and Pete Wakulchyk.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at English Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Burial will be at Coeur d’Alene Memorial Gardens Cemetery directly following the service. Please visit Connie’s online memorial at www.englishfuneralchapel.com.
