Richard George ‘Rick’ Jones, 55

Richard George “Rick” Jones, 55, of Rathdrum, Idaho, went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017. He died peacefully with his wife, Beth, by his side.

He moved to Idaho in 1996 from his hometown in Johnstown, Colo. A Navy veteran, Rick enjoyed his job as a welder for most of his life until a traumatic brain injury disabled him. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Beth Jones; his sister, Katie Schwab of Salt Lake City, Utah; his brothers, Marty (Crystal) Jones and Richard (Clara) Jones, all of Johnstown, Colo.; plus extended family, including a loving and supportive group of friends that he cherished. He was preceded in death by his father, George Jones; mother Beth Ann Whitmore; brother Jim Jones and sister Claire McTiernan Rich.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017, at Real Life Ministries in Post Falls, Idaho, in the upper room of the main building, RLM 1.
