North Idaho Inferno FC Hartzell girls ’07: The Inferno defeated the Sting Timbers G07 Green 2-0 with goals from Mallory Judd and Ellie McGowan. Keeper Dani Todd assisted in the shutout.

The Inferno tied the Spokane Sounders South A 1-1, with the lone Inferno goal from Mallory Judd.

Inferno FC Hartzell girls ’06: The Inferno defeated the Spokane Shadow G06 Elite 1-0 with a goal from Ellie McGowan. Keeper Jessica Willbanks assisted in the shutout.

The Inferno defeated Moscow United G06/07 3-1 with goals from Juliette Gilmore, Zoey Manley and Ellie McGowan.

Sting Timbers FC ’04 boys: The Sting tied United SC ML 04 3-3 this past Saturday. Evan Lowder, Cole Daricek and Patrick Du each scored once for the Sting.

The Sting defeated the Spokane Foxes Pumas 04B 2-1 on Sunday. Jack Shrontz and Jameson Elliot each scored once in the win.

Sting Timbers ’05 girls: The Sting played Sunday in Clarkston and lost to the Hells Canyon FC Newhouse 2-1. Jocelyn Dennis scored the goal for the Timbers.

Inferno U15 boys Johnson: The Inferno tied the Sandpoint Strikers-Tate 2-2. Koby Miller scored on a penalty kick, and Ethan Johnson also scored for Inferno.

Later the Inferno Johnson team shut out the Sandpoint Strikers-Morgan 7-0. Josh Nilson had the shutout in goal. Logan Koller and Matt McLeod both scored twice and Tate Novak, Ethan Johnson and Jack Holloway each scored once.

Sting Timbers FC boys ’06 red: The Sting Timbers beat the Spokane Pumas FC 7-0 on Saturday. Haidyn Jonas led Sting with 3 goals and 1 assist. Kason Pintler had 2 goals and 1 assist. Connor Jump had 1 goal and 4 assists. Max Entzi had 1 goal. Braden Latscha was in goal for the shutout.

On Sunday, the Sting Timbers beat the CWSA Sounders FC 8-0. Haidyn Jonas led STFC with 3 goals and 3 assists. Kason Pintler had 3 goals and 1 assist. Jacob Molina had 2 goals. Connor Jump had 2 assists. Max Entzi and Ben Hanningan-Luther each had 1 assist. Braden Latscha was in goal for the shutout.

JUNIOR TACKLE

Seventh grade

Chargers 28, Jaguars 12: The Chargers were totaled 220 yards of offense against a tough defense in the Jaguars. Zach Johnson led the way with 2 touchdowns, Kyle Bridge had 1, and Maddix Maciosek ran the opening kickoff back for a 70-yard touchdown. Alex Green added a blocked punt. The Chargers are now 6-0 on the season and play Timberlake this week in the championship game.
