What prompted you to seek election to this position?

I’m running for mayor because I feel I can do a better job controlling our growth, managing our city. We need to change the way we keep people informed. Do a much better job on paying attention to details on our infrastucture, projects we do, so we don’t pay twice. We are at such a critical point with our sewer that we can’t afford any more mistakes, or just winging it!! We need a comprehensive long term plan towards fixing the issues, that seems to be lacking at this point. We need to go to a line item accounting/budget so we know our real cost on maintenance, pumps to our lift stations, sewer treatment plant, water, etc. So we can plan ahead... not come from behind. Work towards keeping citizens, council, P&Z, public works, PD working together as one for the betterment of the town. To make unpopular decisions for our town that are necessary, keeping people informed along the way, as to why, so they don’t feel blindsided.
