Firehouse Subs coming to Cd'A

Firehouse Subs will occupy the eastern third of a 6,000-square-foot structure to be built at 1486 W. Appleway (near Cracker Barrel and across from WinCo).

With about 1,050 locations, Firehouse Subs is described as a fast casual restaurant chain with hearty and flavorful foods. Started 20 years ago by firefighter brothers, the business is committed to saving lives through its nonprofit Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation. Check www.firehousesubs.com.

Construction is slated in the next couple of weeks, with completion by fall. Spaces from 1,000 to 4,000 square feet are available in the building to be complete in the fall. The west end cap is designed with a drive-through. Contact Ryan Goodell at 509-534-5805.

CdA Fine Jewelers

opening downtown

A full-service jewelry store is the object of Coeur d’Alene Fine Jewelers that will have its grand opening Friday at 406 E. Sherman Ave. The space formerly was Johannes Jewelry in the Dingle Building.

Owner and jeweler Gary Bower provides custom-made jewelry, jewelry restoration and repair. He has more than 40 years experience and specializes in jewelry design.

Norco Medical open

in Ironwood Square

With more than 70 branches in seven

western states, Norco Medical is a welding, safety, medical gases and supply company. The Coeur d’Alene branch opened recently in Suite 100 at 206 W. Ironwood Drive (Ironwood Square near Albertson’s).

The company began in 1948 and has added divisions and grown with business acquisitions. Jim Kissler heads the company. In Coeur d’Alene, Brandon Simpson is manager and helped by clinician Alyssa Frahm and Brian Bazar with customer service.

opens in Post Falls

With a staff with 25 years of real estate experience, NextHome Living the Northwest has opened its office in Suite 500 at 3145 E. Mullan Ave. in Post Falls.

Part of a nationwide real estate franchise, it specializes in the selling and buying of residential, secondary, waterfront, land and vacation homes through today’s technology and customer service. Owners here are Mike and Sheryl Van Dinter and Shawn and Carrie Sutton with Carrie as office manager.
