'From Bach to Rock' free concert Thursday

Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy will present “From Bach to Rock,” at the North Idaho College Boswell Hall Schuler Performing Arts Center at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy band and orchestra students will perform under the direction of Michael Harrison, the school’s instrumental music director.
All instrumental music students will take the stage, including the Jazz Band, Chamber Orchestra and Wind Ensemble which will also include a solo featuring Landon Chang, the 2017 Idaho State Solo Champion, on alto saxophone.
The program will be a wide-ranging mix of classical, pop, jazz and rock-inspired music.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert is free and open to the public. Limited section seating can be reserved through Tuesday at the Charter Academy online store at www.cdacharter.org.
The concert is open to all.
