Midtown Pub slated for early June opening

The midtown area of Coeur d’Alene continues to come alive, and the Midtown Pub will take advantage.

T.W. Fisher’s Midtown Pub at 826 N. Fourth St. will open in early June with a full menu of craft and domestic beers, wines, cider, soups, salads, sandwiches and shareable platters. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Originally Woodcock’s Drug Store and more recently Emerald Cleaners, Fisher is completely remodeling the place. It will seat about 80 customers at the buddy bar and low tables with families welcome.

Bo Graham managed Fisher’s Club 41 in Post Falls and will manage Midtown Pub with C.J. Fox-Lopp the menu consultant. They’re now looking for employees. Phone 712-3108.

Reflexology, massage

clinic opens downtown

Certified reflextologist Evey Sherven and licensed massage therapist Rebecca Moore have opened their offices in Suite 102 at 206 E. Indiana Ave.

Sherven specializes in reflexology hand and foot treatments as well as manicures and pedicures. With experience in the spa and chiropractic settings, Moore specializes in Swedish, deep-tissue, therapeutic, La Stone, prenatal and chair massage.

CDA Structures

building new place

A new office and shop is under construction by and for CDA Structures at 15223 N. Government Way in Hayden.

Specializing in residential and commercial construction, the company is committed to quality, cost-effectiveness, timeliness, attention to detail, customer service and use of the finest materials, skilled tradesmen and staff.

Bringing Lincoln Excavating, South Fork Rock Products, Northwest Spray Foam and CDA Concrete Works all under the same roof, the new 12,000-square-foot service building and 7,040-square-foot office will be done by July. The company will combine with KXLY TV’s Mark Peterson and the Extreme Team for their 50th project, a baseball field and helping with 4-H programs.

Owners Brian and Nickole Eiter combine with Rick Gosselin (project manager), Joe Lewis (field supervisor), Rick Rock and Jim Denison (sales) and managers Dan Lincoln of Lincoln Excavating, Tyler Jones of NW Spray Foam and Rodger Shorten and Lyle Ferguson of CDA Concrete Works.

Iron Horse celebrates

45 years on June 2

Tom and Mary Robb bought what was the Manor House at 407 E. Sherman Ave. 45 years ago. They’ll celebrate the anniversary of their Iron Horse restaurant and bar on June 2.

They’re helped with management by their son Aaron. Their son Mike has had the Iron Horse in Spokane for 20 years.

The downtown restaurant opens at 10 a.m. weekdays and for breakfast at 8 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The bar stays open until 2 a.m. The Iron Horse offers several eating areas and meeting rooms. Phone 667-7314.

- Angelo Brunson started Angelo’s Ristorante at 846 N. Fourth St. 12 years ago. And now he’s starting the Martino Tuscan Grill in Riverstone in early June. It will be in the location that Rivelle’s Grill left next to Starbucks. Details soon.

- Many businesses will be starting soon. Watch for Philly Express in the former Subway location on Northwest Boulevard, El Taco Loco in the former Valentino’s Pizza off Canfield Avenue, Sprint in the former Radio Shack location in Appleway Square, CdA Fine Jewelers in the former Johannes Jewelers location at 406 Sherman, Castaway Cellars in the Plaza Shops, Polished Nails+Skin+Body Spa at 413 Sherman, Rustic Restaurant at 309 Sherman and Gyro Shack Greek eatery in Ironwood (Albertson’s) Square.

And Hollywood Revolver Bar will be where The Grail was at Seltice Way and Huetter.

- A July completion is expected for the new building at 724 E. Lakeside Ave. Occupants will be J.E. Design-Build, Northwest Insurance Associates, Shine Salon and a software company.

- Maybe an interesting spelling for the names Erin and Aaron is Error N.
