HUFF: A timely tribute

I just wanted to thank The Press for running the article Friday on ISP Trooper Linda Huff.

I remember the sadness and shock of that event. While I agree with and support all the honor and remembrance this community shows for Sgt. Moore and family, in recent weeks I reflected on losing her as well and felt that she had been forgotten. I was considering writing a letter to the Coeur d’Alene Press encouraging an article about her and was so very pleased that I didn’t have to.

We should not forget either of these precious people who pledged to keep our community safe. A simple thank you will never be enough for all those who continue to serve. You are appreciated and prayed for.
