K27: Community support has been wonderful

On behalf of the Panhandle Parks Foundation Board of Directors, we would like to thank so many wonderful people in this caring community we live in. We thank you all for your very generous support of the K 27 Sgt. Greg Moore Memorial Water Feature in McEuen Park and the recent fundraising efforts for that project. The Press has been very helpful in getting the word out about the many donors, participants and promoting the various community events.

We would like to sincerely thank all the businesses that opened their hearts and donated a large portion of their proceeds for the K 27 Memorial Cinco Day this past Friday, May 5. It was amazing how many businesses were eager to be a part of this important fundraising. Please continue to thank and patronize the following that made this happen: BBC Bookkeeping & Taxes, Buffalo Wild Wings, Capone’s Pub & Grill, The Fedora, Franko’s Dog House, Freedom Burrito, McDonald’s of Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene, Nate’s New York Pizza, North Idaho Cider, Roger’s Ice Cream & Burgers, Schaffers Towing, Strike Zone Arena, Sun Valley Tree Service and Sweet Lou’s.

The K 27 Sgt Greg Moore Memorial Water Feature will be under the direction of the Panhandle Parks Foundation and it will be built with donations, fundraising, grants and In-Kind materials. We will continue to seek support and if people would like to help, please contact PPF Director at either panhandleparks@gmail.com or (208) 446-4813 for donation information, forms and lists of needed materials. The construction will begin soon and much of the infrastructure has been completed but we still need your help. We are very humbled at the wonderful response and we look forward to seeing the project finished and enjoyed by all. Our law enforcement need to be Honored, Respected and Remembered.
