SCARCELLO: Honest, hardworking

I have been campaigning for Laurin Scarcello and have had the privilege of meeting some of the nicest people in our area.

I do believe that we constituents need to get more involved if we want to be properly represented. That means we all need to do our homework and find out the TRUE facts about who is running.

When a person is putting their hat in the ring, we need to find out if what they are saying they will do or have done is what they really stand for and are truthful about their accomplishments. We have people writing letters to the editor who have not researched what they are saying, only taking hearsay into consideration.

You can go on the internet and to YouTube and enter “Laurin Scarcello.” It will bring up who he really is and what he stands for.

Me and my family have known Laurin for more than 40 years. He is one of the most honest and hardworking people we know. You can ask him a question or have a concern about anything, and you can call him and he will give you a straight answer and not sugarcoat it.

Lakes Highway District has gone downhill the past few years and we need some new blood so they can get back to being the best highway district again. I worked for the district for years and retired a few years ago, so I am not trying to feed anyone a bunch of bologna.
