TRANSIT: Support for center

Having attended the presentation on the proposed transit center changes given to the ignite cda board last month, I think that the planned changes are worthy of support. In truth, I have never set foot on these buses, but I have noted the number of neighbors waiting for a ride at the several pickup points on East Sherman and Fourth Street.

Since my wife and I are both in our mid-70s, the need for effective public transportation options no longer looms as a distant prospect; at best, another decade of safe driving is a realistic expectation. I’m happy to have my tax dollars support those in need today so the services we will eventually need will be in place.
