Timberlake advances

MERIDIAN — Brenden Jessen had 11 points, five rebounds and five assists to lead the Timberlake Tigers past the Parma Panthers in a loser out game in the state 3A tournament on Friday at Meridian High.

Brayden Menti had 10 points and two steals for Timberlake, which finished the game 20 of 36 from the field.

Timberlake (14-9) will face Weiser (22-2) in the consolation championship game today at 8:15 a.m. PST.

MERIDIAN — Toby Colburn had 20 points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats in a loss to the Panthers in a semifinal game in the state 3A tournament at Meridian High.

Chase Jerome had 13 points and six assists for Kellogg (19-3), which faces Gooding in the third-place game today at 10 a.m. PST. Snake River is 21-3 and will face Sugar-Salem in the title game today at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.
