CONSUMER: Help appreciated

I want to thank you for publishing “The CDA Press Consumer Guy.” He was a big help to us to get the money for our refrigerator back.

I recently sold a home on Twin Lakes to a friend who is a Realtor and broker in Rathdrum. After the sale, I had a large, fairly new refrigerator I was going to sell. The Realtor wanted to buy it and we agreed on $500. I also had a fairly new washer and dryer that she said we could store in a son’s old storage shed. Then we had a buyer, but no washer and dryer. The Realtor and son wouldn’t tell us where they went.

Bill the Consumer Guy got after the Realtor, who finally paid for the refrigerator but not the washer and dryer. She has become extremely hostile, making me believe she’s sold my washer/dryer. Nice reception from a friend/Realtor and broker who made a good chunk of change from the sale of a very nice lake house.

To anyone who knows where the washer and dryer might be, where we can get them back, there will be a $100 reward. Thank you.
