| June 25, 2017 2:00 AM

“Helping Families Care for Their Pets” is the theme of the Tails Foundation Inc., which has opened a huge thrift store and community center at 3513 W. Seltice Way.

The store offers all types of items in a warehouse-size building open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Free clothes are offered Fridays and Saturdays, and programs include the Food4Tails pet food bank, Rainbow Tails for end-of-life services, Tails4Life for medical expenses and WiseTails for humane education.

Donations are accepted and volunteers of all types are welcome. A back yard will soon be available for activities.

The Coffee Market

is also on Seltice

Coffee and bar supplies are the specialty of The Coffee Market. The store has relocated to 2623 W. Seltice Way from about 15 years on Neider Avenue in Coeur d’Alene and Miles in Hayden.

Owner Tricia Vucinich offers items retail and wholesale 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Phone 818-9504. Check Facebook for The Coffee Market.

Beau Monde Clothing

grand opening Friday

With all prices $5 and under, the Beau Monde Clothing Outlet will celebrate its grand opening Saturday next to Dollar Tree in Suite E at 410 Neider Ave.

The store offers name-brand quality clothing, shoes and accessories for men, women and juniors. It’s a spin off the 16-year-old Beau Monde Clothing Exchange that last year moved from the east side of Ironwood Square to Prairie Shopping Center.

Owner Brooke Miller said a portion of the sales go to local charities each month. In the past six years $90,000 was donated from the store’s $10 Stuff-A-Bag-for-Charity sales.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Phone 758-0565.. Check the Facebook page.

Cd’A Marine Sports

opens at 4th/Spruce

With a large lot holding 25 to 30 boats of all types, Coeur d’Alene Marine Sports has opened in Suite C at 1701 N. Fourth St. (the former Beaudry Motors location next to the Bare Culture Kombucha store north of Spruce Avenue).

Owner Bill Hundt (with wife Laurie) said the specialty crafts are Larson Boats, which have been manufactured since 1913. They have many pontoon and fishing boats and also offer services.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and Sundays and Mondays by appointment. Phone 230-9679. Check www.cdamarinesports.com.
