POLITICS: More work needed

We see the same old whining about religion and politics, the losing party blames their loss on everyone, first one and then the other. Congress and the House gets $174,000 and spend all their time accusing each other of anything, they put in less than three days per week, and they actually get three months vacation each year. They only worked 130 days last year. They really put in some time in April — eight whole days. Wow!

Now for you uneducated people who know the Christians started all the wars, cover your eyes, we don’t want to offend you with a few facts.

The first Crusade began in 1096:

- 460 years after the first Christian city was overrun by Muslim armies.

- 443 years after Muslims plundered Italy.

- 427 years after Muslim armies first laid siege to the Christian capital of Constantinople.

- 380 years after Spain was conquered by Muslim armies.

- 363 years after France was first attacked by Muslim armies.

- 249 years after the Capital of the Christian world, Rome itself was sacked by a Muslim army.

By the time the Crusades finally began, Muslim armies had conquered two-thirds of the Christian world.

It would sure be nice if all you people who actually know so damn little would take time to research the subjects you all claim to be facts before making all your supposedly factual statements.
