NOTICE OF FOREST MANAGEMENT DECISION BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT Implementation of the Wallace L. Forest Conservation Area at Blue Creek Bay Vegetative Treatments The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Coeur d'Alene District, will implement a combination of vegetation treatments that include pre-commercial thinning, selective harvest, and hazardous fuels reduction at the Wallace L. Forest Conservation Area at Blue Creek Bay in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho (Kootenai County). This decision is consistent with the Approved Coeur d'Alene Resource Management Plan (June 2007). BLM has prepared an Environmental Assessment for this project and made it available to the public. The decision record is available on the internet at: http://bit.ly/bluecreekbay. The decision to implement this forest management project may be protested under 43 CFR 5003 - Administrative Remedies.
