TRUMP: A national disgrace

I have always considered myself a Democratic moderate, sometimes voting for a Republican when appropriate. It is baffling to me that Republicans continue to defend Trump’s indefensible actions. The man has acted like a buffoon when it comes to international affairs and an unabashed obstructionist regarding domestic matters. How can Republicans possibly see this man as a representative of their values and views? I have a very good memory, which includes recalling most Republicans appalled by this man before he was elected by the Electoral College (not by the popular vote).

He is an embarrassment to the United States and it’s disturbing to me that Republicans continue to defend him. Just because he’s a Republican? Is this the man you are proud to represent all of you? Really? Is this man actually the most intelligent, dignified, knowledgeable and moral Republican you could find to endorse and symbolize your Republican beliefs?

It is blatantly evident to me that this man is a self-serving narcissist who will stop at nothing to benefit himself and his business interests while he is in office. Money, money and more money is his false God and to hell with anyone or anything that gets in his way.

Republicans, there is no blaming anyone but yourselves for this man and his values and now we all have to live with the results. May God look over us and help us endure all things for as long as this man is in the White House.
