Thank you everyone who came out on Saturday, June 3 and supported the 3rd Annual Pride in the Park organized by the North Idaho Pride Alliance! What a beautiful day to celebrate our Pride and our Unity. Special thank you to the Men’s Amity Project members, led by Michael Gray, for all of your young strength in setting up and taking down the event! Thank you to Pride in the Park committee members Ruth Ann Stratton, Doug Rathbun, Jessica Russell and ALL of the many wonderful volunteers who stepped up and helped set up, staff the Pride Alliance and information booths and helped clean up.
Another very special thank you to our entertainment chair, Kathy Colton, and the energetic live music of Kathy Colton and the Reluctants and the Angela Marie Project. Thank you to Cathy Riordan of Big Bear deli for providing excellent food and to Keith and Kyle Eckness for making sure we were all hydrated.
Thank you to the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho for sponsoring the children’s area. We were so glad to have your a part of our event this year! Thank you to our Sponsors OutSpokane, Numerica Credit Union, Pride Foundation, PFLAG CDA and AHA! Creative.

Much hearty thanks to the local community support for our fantastic fundraiser, Dancing with Celebrities, which occurred at the Coeur d’Alene Casino on May 6.
To our dancers who volunteered so much of their time, talent and influence to make this event a success: we will appreciate you always for making this such an unforgettable experience! Thank you, celebrities Kiki Miller, Amy Bartoo, Tom Torgerson, Michelle Johnson, Jeff Crandall, Ben Tran, Heidi Rogers, Steve Roberge, Mike Kennedy and LaDonna Beaumont; and thank you, choreographers Mikki Stevens, Joseph Lyons, Bri Gilge, Harry Wheeler, Monica Newell, Lynda LeBlanc, Daniel Connelly, Crystal Reiber, Amy Reneau and Syafiq Fuller.

Lastly, we are pleased to announce the date and location of next year’s “Dancing with Celebrities:” Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Coeur d’Alene Casino. You can expect another exciting party from Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre!
