PILLS: Drug companies questioned

I would like to sound off about our pharmaceutical companies and our pharmacies. In the last four months my prescriptions have changed makers four times. With each change, my pills have gotten weaker and weaker. The pharmacies are buying from the cheapest pharmaceutical companies, not caring that they are being made in China. They both only care about the money. No one is thinking about the person taking the medicine.

I sound like I am crazy when I tell my doctor that my pills don’t work anymore. I should know, since I am the one taking them. I am embarrassed that my doctor thinks I am seeking something more.

Does anyone care that China could be cutting our pills with something other than the proper medicine? Does anyone care that new pharmaceutical companies are starting up and selling cheaper and cheaper medicine, just to get their business? Because of my illness, I am forced to take these medications. It is not that I enjoy any of it. I am now forced to call around to pharmacies and ask what company makes their pills, just so I can stop getting the cheap ones that don’t work. If there are any pharmacies out there that care more about their customers than getting a cheaper price, please let the public know. We need you just as much as you need us.
