Martino Tuscan Grill opening in Riverstone

The new Martino Tuscan Grill will open soon at 2360 Old Mill Loop in Riverstone. The location is the former Rivelle’s River Grill next to Starbucks, with seating for 75.

Owner Angelo Martino Brunson has been working with restaurants for 35 years, starting in Seattle and opening Angelo’s Ristorante at 846 N. Fourth St. in 2004. Offering dinner 4 to 10 p.m. daily, the menu will include 10 appetizers, six pastas and gnocci, eight entrees with veal, chops, steaks and seafood, desserts, beer and wine.

Vine & Olive place

set for Riverstone

Taking off from her former Wine Cellar business in downtown Coeur d’Alene, Naomi Boutz will open her Vine & Olive restaurant in Riverstone in September. It will in the location of the former Aeropostale store at 2037 N. Main Street.

Vine & Olive will have a small plate menu focus with heavy European influences featuring a pairing menu and a private room for wine club members. The chef will be Paul Mason.

Polished Nails-Spa

The list of services is extensive for Polished Nails+Skin+Body Spa when it opens soon at 413 E. Sherman Ave.

Owner Stephanie Hash will offer a nail bar, spa parties, waterless manicuring and pedicuring, sculptured nails, gel nails, complete hair care and styling, skincare and body services. Positions are available.

Bayview Shuttle

serves Pend Oreille

With A $20 charge for a 90-minute boat ride on the southern half of Lake Pend Oreille, Bayview Shuttle is now operating from the Bayview public dock.

Capt. Wes Jones can accommodate six passengers on his 22-foot Duckworth boat that includes a cover, open aft and heated main cabin. It leaves at 9:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday and by appointment on Sundays. Passengers check out Kilroy Bay, Whiskey Rock Campground, Cedar Creek, Granite Creek, Pine Cove and Lakeview. You’ll see sheer cliffs, scenic vistas and the occasional mountain goat.

Idaho Youth Ranch opens outlet store

Idaho Youth Ranch opened the new outlet store in Post Falls on Saturday. The nonprofit organization purchased the location at 6240 E Commerce Loop, which will serve as a donation center to support more growth in North Idaho.

The outlet location will price most items between 49 to 99 cents per pound and the distribution center is accepting donations.

Idaho Youth Ranch thrift stores are a key revenue source for funding programs around the state. Anchor House in Coeur d’Alene offers functional family therapy and equine therapy to kids who are struggling with trauma or relationships.

The ranch has been helping good kids on a dangerous path find promising futures for nearly 60 years, using revenues from its network of 30 thrift stores to fund youth programs and services throughout the state. For more information, call (208) 377-2613 or visit www.youthranch.org.

- With an opening planned soon, the Fresh Mexican Grill will be at 780 N. Cecil (off East Mullan Ave.) in Post Falls. Owner Felix Cabrera had La Cocina restaurant in the same location and also owns La Cabana and Club Tequila in Post Falls.

- New eateries coming include Republic Taphouse behind the Post Falls City Hall, Rustic Restaurant at 309 Sherman, Philly Express on Northwest Boulevard, El Taco Loco off Canfield Ave., Gyro Shack in Ironwood Square and Little Caeser’s Pizza at 8220 N. Cornerstone in Hayden.

- Businesses coming include Sprint in the Radio Shack place in Appleway Square, Castaway Cellars in the Plaza Shops, EyeGuys Optical in Hayden, Cash&Carry Smart Food Service at 208 E.
