GRIPES: Make 'em count

| June 2, 2017 1:00 AM

I can’t help responding to the letter about how the serenity of our great city is being compromised by a helicopter. You people are babies. I have lived here practically my entire life and I can’t recall a single day where there wasn’t a plane or a helicopter or something flying by. Never once, NEVER did I think our serenity was at stake.

Some people have nothing better to do than complain. If that is your thing, why don’t you gripe about something worth complaining about? How about the condition of the sidewalks, the streets, the panhandlers, the traffic? What about Kootenai County being the dandelion capital of the entire State of Idaho? Look at the plantation across the street from Coeur d’Alene High School. Why am I the writer and you the reader still paying for Joseph Duncan and the guy who killed Sgt. Moore to be alive and well? That is something to gripe about. Flying around in the name of tourism is really not that big a deal, is it? Come on.
