Artists open their studios for tour
COEUR d’ALENE — Two days, 12 studios to visit, 25 artists.
The Artist Studio Tour returns to Coeur d’Alene from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11. For $10, studio tourists will receive a passport to visit 12 studios where they can observe artists in the spaces where their creative inspiration takes form. Visitors will interact with the artists and watch them work with paints, metal, glass, charcoal, textiles, beads, bronze and more.
The tour, hosted by the Coeur d’Alene Arts & Culture Alliance, winds through Hayden, Dalton Gardens, Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls and includes chances to win raffle prizes at the various. Those who get their passports stamped at all 12 locations will be entered into a raffle for one of two grand prize baskets — valued at $300 to $400 each.
Participating artists include: Debora Seaver, Kathy LeFrancis, Terry Lee, Steve Knudson, Cheryl Metcalf, Stephen Shortridge, Karen Trueblood, Kyle Paliotto, Terry Swanson Blakemore, Lori Blessing, Teresa McHugh, Diane Higdem, Denise Gilroy, Sandie Key, Yvonne Benzinger, Linda Lantzy, Jan Clizer, Julie Rae, Chelsea Cordova, Jessica Bryant, Sharalee Howard, Sarah Thompson Moore, Kevin Jester, Kathy Gale, Toni Spencer and Tammy Crawford.

An opening artist reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 9 during the Emerge Pop-Up Show at 208 N. Fourth St., Coeur d’Alene.
