Looking Glass moves to Fourth Street

A few moves and new locations are the focus of this week’s business news.

The only one regarding retail products is Looking Glass Antiques, which is moving from 1207 N. Fourth St. to 848 N. Fourth, the former location of Safe Passage Thrift Store. Watch for the grand opening and how to win a $100 gift certificate.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. After 15 months in the old place, it will open Thursday in the new place. Phone 889-9275.

Management moves

second location

Offering home, auto, life and commercial insurance, the Jana Pool Agency of American Family Insurance has opened a second office in Suite 400 of 3145 E. Mullan Ave. in Post Falls. The original office is at 239 E. Locust Ave. Owner Jana Pool has 25 years experience in the industry and will work in both offices. Samantha Russo and Jessica Chandler will work in Post Falls.

opens on Lakeside

Insurance for auto, home, business, life and boats and toys is offered by Northwest Insurance Associates.

With 20 years experience in the industry, owner Joe Angelo opens his new office Tuesday in the new building at 722 E. Lakeside Ave. A former Air Force officer and graduate of Norwich University, Angelo and a staff of three offer the agency’s access to more than 100 additional insurance carriers.in 45 states.

CK Coffee opens

on Government Way

Using fresh locally roasted coffee beans, CK Coffee has opened at 3023 Government Way (the former Kisses Espresso location).

Owners Chance (Guy) and Keri Mulanax offer a 16-ounce daily for $2 and will start delivery of large orders next week. They changed the place’s decor and no longer have servers in bikinis.

Orgill distributor adds

warehouse on Dalton

Although just used for storage, Orgill Inc. has added a 19,800-square-foot warehouse for storage of its hardware and home-improvement products at 500 W. Dalton Ave.

The 20-year-old company headquartered in Memphis distributes 75,000 products through seven national distribution centers, one being on Seltice Way in Post Falls. Hours there are 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Phone 777-2300. Check www.orgill.com.

- Businesses coming into the former Hancock Fabrics location in Prairie Shopping Center are Overstocked Mattresses & Furniture and an Idaho State Liquor Store. Openings coming on Fourth Street include a real estate office, the Relic Moon offering piercing and body jewelry and the White Pine coffee place. Highland Dance Studio, Kitchen Coeur d’Alene, Encore Shoes and Solutions People call center are coming to Silver Lake Mall.

- Post Falls openings in the next weeks include Popeye’s and Riverstone Dental Care. Philly Express will be on Northwest Boulevard, and the Gyro Shack, Fast Cash 4 Cards and Massage Envy businesses will be in Ironwood Square.

- Hollywood Revolver will be off Seltice Way, Aspen Dental on Ironwood-Highway 95, El Taco Loco off Canfield Avenue, Castaway Cellars in the Plaza Shops, EyeGuys Optical and Idaho Central Credit Union in Hayden, Rumour Boutique expanding on Government Way and Vine & Olive in Riverstone.

- On Appleway watch for Chinatown restaurant (where Dragon House was), Firehouse Subs and Dairy Queen. Fuel Fitness & Nutrition has a new building at Haycraft and Government Way, and J.E. Design-Build, Northwest Insurance Associates, Shine Salon and Surf My Ad software company are in a new building at 724 E. Lakeside. Shilo Inn on Appleway will change to Comfort Suites after a major remodel.
