REBUTTAL: Seeking bliss

Mr. Gressler, we’ve never met, but I feel we are getting to know one another pretty well. May I call you Danny? No? Fine.

Anyway Daniel, just to be sure I understand… you want myself, Jim Bennett, and like-minded Americans to travel to Russia, in order to praise our president in German? I can hail Trump from right here, in English.

Like I said, we’ve never met, so I’m not sure where you fall in, but I’m gonna give you the benefit of the doubt. Ignorance can be remedied. It’s stupid that can’t be fixed. They say “ignorance is bliss,” and you don’t sound like you’re living in bliss. Still, I give you the benefit of the doubt. It’s been nice chatting with ya Danny Boy, but I’m done with your soap opera. Better luck next time!

P.S. I hate to deprive you of your “clever” retaliation… You know, the part where you say, “If ignorance is bliss, you must be the happiest guy around!” Truth is, I’m the happiest SOB on Earth!
