Little League state playoffs

begin Friday in Hayden

HAYDEN — Two Coeur d’Alene teams will play for state titles this weekend in the best-of-3 state playoffs at Croffoot Park.

In the age 8-10 division, Coeur d’Alene will face Southwest Ada on Friday at 3 p.m., Saturday at 9 a.m. and, if necessary, Sunday at 9 a.m.

In the age 9-11 division, Coeur d’Alene will take on West Valley on Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and, if necessary, Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

In the Majors division, Lewiston will meet Southwest Ada on Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and, if necessary, Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

Sunday’s if-necessary game times could be adjusted, depending on how many games are necessary.

The Lewiston-Southwest Ada winner will advance to the Northwest Regional in San Bernardino, Calif. State is the end of the road for the age 8-10 and age 9-11 divisions.
