Macomber
Law adds
new attorney
Macomber Law, PLLC announced the addition of Brooks S. Schott to its legal staff. Schott is licensed as an attorney in Texas.
Schott received his Juris Doctor from Willamette University College of Law and graduated from Eastern Washington University magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts in government. During law school, Schott, who is originally from Spokane, served as executive editor of the Willamette Law Review. He will be sitting for the Idaho bar in February 2018.

Glacier Bancorp
reports second quarter results
Glacier Bancorp, Inc. the parent company of Mountain West Bank, reported net income of $33.7 million for the current quarter, an increase of $3.2 million, or 11 percent, from the $30.5 million of net income for the prior year's second quarter. Diluted earnings per share for the current quarter was $0.43 per share, an increase of $0.03, or 8 percent, from the prior year second quarter diluted earnings per share of $0.40. Included in the current quarter was $867,000 of acquisition-related expenses.
“Our 14 divisions, supported by our senior staff, continue to post impressive operating results. It’s great to see our strong momentum continue,” said Randy Chesler, president and chief executive officer, in a press release. “We are very pleased to welcome The Foothills Bank into the Glacier family. We think they are a great addition and we are excited to enter the Arizona market.”
Net income for the six months ending June 30, 2017, was $64.9 million, an increase of $5.8 million, or 10 percent, from the $59.1 million of net income for the first six months of the prior year. Diluted earnings per share for the first half of 2017 was $0.84 per share, an increase of $0.06, or 8 percent, from the diluted earnings per share of $0.78 for the same period in the prior year.
On June 6, the company announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire Columbine Capital Corp., the holding company for Collegiate Peaks Bank, a community bank in Buena Vista, Colo. As of June 30, Collegiate had total assets of $466 million, gross loans of $337 million and total deposits of $399 million. The acquisition marks the company’s 19th acquisition since 2000, its eighth transaction in the past five years, and its fourth transaction in the state of Colorado. The acquisition is subject to required regulatory approvals and other customary conditions of closing and is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2018.
On April 30, Glacier completed the acquisition of TFB Bancorp, Inc., the holding company for The Foothills Bank, a community bank based in Yuma, Ariz.
Corridor Mortgage opens new
Cd’A branch
Corridor Mortgage Group has opened its second Idaho office and announced the appointment of Annette “Toni” Brulé as the branch manager.
Through this position, Brulé will be responsible for providing day-to-day oversight and acting as a resource for her team of loan officers.
“Toni is a great addition to our team,” said Tom Hollerbach, Corridor Mortgage Group’s senior vice president of production. “Her proven industry knowledge and dedication will certainly be an advantage for members of the Coeur d’Alene community.”
Brulé comes to Corridor Mortgage Group with over three decades of experience in the mortgage industry, including past experience as the owner of a mortgage company.
Earlier this year, Corridor Mortgage Group opened its first Idaho location in Hayden.
Corridor Mortgage Group is an independent mortgage company licensed in more than 20 states. The regional company provides products and services found in larger mortgage banks while adapting to trends and customer requests.

Boni joins
Village at
Orchard Ridge
The Village at Orchard Ridge announced the addition of Amy Boni as director of development and marketing.
Graduating with a degree in marketing from University of Alaska Anchorage, Boni brings years of experience in the marketing field. She formerly worked for the Post Falls Chamber as the outreach/membership coordinator and most recently with Windermere CDA Realty as its marketing director.
“Amy has the energy and passion for nonprofit work,” said Ann Johnson, executive director at Orchard Ridge. “I’m thrilled to have her grow and expand our ability to give charitable care. Her primary role will be to work with donors to match their generous gifts with opportunities at Orchard Ridge.”
The Village at Orchard Ridge is located at 624 W. Harrison Ave., Coeur d’Alene. The nonprofit senior living campus includes both independent and assisted living/memory care governed by 19 local churches.
