Rathdrum concerts move to Majestic Park

RATHDRUM — The free Rathdrum summer concert series has been moved from City Park to the new outdoor amphitheater at Majestic Park.

The classic rock band Borgata will perform tonight from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

"The amphitheater was built last fall and (tonight) will be the first time that area is open to the public," said Leon Duce, city administrator.

Future concerts also start at 6 p.m. and include:

- Moses Wiley (bluegrass folk fusion), July 28;

- Charlie Butts and the Filter Tips (jazz, rhythm and blues), Aug. 4; and

- The Kelly Hughes Band (country, classic rock), Aug. 12 during the Taste of Rathdrum.
