Community thanks event Thursday

Children’s Village will host a community recognition event Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.

The “Attitude of Gratitude” event will be held at the cul-de-sac at Children’s Village, 1350 W. Hanley Ave., and will feature food, live music and games.

Children’s Village is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity and serves children in the area needing help in times of abuse, crises, and homelessness. Funding comes solely from grants, monthly supporters, personal gifts and fundraising.
