VETERAN: Who we are

I take objection with Bob Hunt’s definition of who he stated is a veteran! A veteran gave/gives “military service” for our country. There are five, not seven as he mentioned…Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard make up our military services, period. The “USPHS” (U.S. Public Health Service) and “NOAA” (weather service) and others should never be considered or even mentioned in the same breath as those of us who have fought and died for this country!
Because someone may work for the federal government, they may even wear a uniform, that doesn’t make them a military veteran!
