ANNIVERSARIES
LeRoy and Joann Holzer
50th Anniversary
LeRoy Holzer and Joann (Lunde) Holzer will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on July 22, 2017.
LeRoy Holzer of Bismarck, N.D., and Joann Lunde of Fergus Falls, Minn., met in Bismarck where they were married on July 22, 1967, at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church.
They moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1977 with their three children, and their fourth child was born in Coeur d’Alene. Joann is a retired Registered Nurse who worked at a local Skilled Nursing Facility for 37 years. Lee is a retired Heating and Air Conditioning Salesman in Coeur d’Alene.
They have four children, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Daughter Bonnie Barton and husband Dave Barton of Coeur d’Alene; daughter Laurie Loew and husband Jay Weintraub of Coeur d’Alene; son Scott Holzer and wife Shannon Holzer of Coeur d’Alene; and daughter Sherrie Holzer and husband Paul Gonzalez of Paso Robles, Calif.
They will be celebrating their anniversary with a small group of family and friends in Post Falls on July 15, 2017.
They have been an inspiration to all of us, and we would like to thank them for their years of devotion and love.

WEDDING
Toenniessen-Albertson
Rose Marie Toenniessen and Matthew Klein Albertson were married in a private ceremony on Gold Hill Trail overlooking Sandpoint on July 1, 2017, at 5 p.m. Jim McMillen officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Allen and Roxanne Toenniessen of Cusick, Wash. The groom is the son of Doug and Peggy Albertson of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
The bride graduated from Deer Park High School and then attended Eastern Washington University receiving bachelors’ degrees in psychology and biology. She is employed at Cheney Veterinary Clinic.
The groom graduated from Lake City High School and then attended Northern Arizona University receiving a bachelor’s degree in advertising. He is employed at Lloyd’s Automotive in Spokane.
The couple met while racing at autocross in Spokane and will honeymoon in Kauai. And then they will race speedboats.
ENGAGEMENTS
Fruin-Hail
Ms. Tamara M. Fruin and Mr. John B. Clendennen of Coeur d’Alene announce the engagement of Ms. Fruin’s daughter, Kasey K. Fruin to James A. Hail III, son of James A. Hail II and Cynthia Joy Hail of Coeur d’Alene. Ms. Fruin is also the daughter of Karl Reese of Desert Aire, Wash.
Ms. Fruin, who attended the University of Idaho, is a Collections Account Representative at Alliance Data. Mr. Hail graduated from the University of Idaho and also attended Western Michigan University Cooley Law School. He is currently the Publisher at Hagadone Directories.
A June 2019 wedding is planned.
Sundeen-Skidmore
Cindy and Lanny Neipert of Coeur d’Alene, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alicia Sundeen to Howard Donald Skidmore III both of Hayden, son of Colleen and Dennis Ackerman of McCall, and Howard Skidmore II of Cambridge.
Matron of Honor of honor will be Whitney Lebsock of Post Falls; bridesmaids Shasta Skidmore of San Diego, Calif., and Alyssa Zehnder of Minot, N.D.; best man Randy Smith of San Diego; groomsmen James Sundeen of Minot and Ryan Friberg of San Diego; flower girl Layla Skidmore of Hayden and Kinsley Sundeen of Minot; ring bearer Landen Skidmore of Hayden.
The couple will be united in marriage at 4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at Higgens Point in Coeur d’Alene. Pastor Wayne Foil will officiate the ceremony. The bride will be given in marriage by her stepfather, Lanny Neipert and father Jeff Sundeen. A reception will follow.
Music for the ceremony and reception will be provided by John and Cheryl Beebe (BBz Sounds).
The couple will reside in Hayden.
