Missoula tops Lumbermen

COEUR d’ALENE — Tradd Richardson went 3 for 5 and drove in four runs as the Missoula Mavericks topped the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen 10-5 in a nonleague American Legion baseball game Thursday at Thorco Field.

Richardson’s three-run double in the top of the sixth broke a 5-all tie.

Hunter Wabs delivered a two-run single in the second inning for Coeur d’Alene. Brett Keesee’s RBI single later in the inning tied the game at 3. The Lums scored twice in the third to take a 5-3 lead.

Coeur d’Alene (13-18) is scheduled to play host to Lewis-Clark on Saturday in a class AA North Idaho League doubleheader at 1 p.m. at Thorco Field.
