Little kids, big wheels

More than 150 spectators cheered on 40 racers during the annual McDonald’s Big Wheel Race hosted by Post Falls Parks & Recreation on Friday, July 7, at Q’emiln Park during the Post Falls Festival.

The children who placed in their age group were:

3-Year-Olds:

Jaxon Ware, Post Falls – 1st

Max Richards, Post Falls – 2nd

Kanah Davis, Post Falls – 3rd

4-Year-Olds:

Jeffery Kristovich, Post Falls – 1st

McKenna Scott, Post Falls – 2nd

Jaxon La Fountain, Post Falls – 3rd

5-Year-Olds

Trinity Newman, Post Falls – 1st

Lukas Hewitt-Nord, Post Falls – 2nd

Heidi Richard, Post Falls – 3rd

6-Year-Olds

Jadyn Berland, Coeur d’Alene – 1st

Wyatt Hill, Coeur d’Alene – 2nd

Ryan La Fountain, Post Falls – 3rd

Children who placed first, second, and third received a trophy donated by Awards, Etc., and a McDonald’s T-shirt. Every child who participated received a ribbon and a McDonald’s Happy Meal.

In addition, every racer was entered into a drawing for one of six Big Wheels donated by Knudtsen Chevrolet.
