Prugh maintains Lilac lead; Grove tied for fifth

Corey Prugh of Manito Golf and Country Club in Spokane maintained his lead Saturday after the third round of the Lilac City Invitational at The Fairways at West Terrace.

Prugh shot a 6-under-par 66 to move to 19-under 197, two shots better than Brian Miller of Madras, Ore., the first-round leader.

North Idaho College men’s and women’s golf coach Russell Grove, the 2013 Lilac champion, shot a third-round 71 and is tied for fifth at 7-under 209, 12 shots back.

Connor Robbins of Prairie Falls shot 76 on Saturday and dropped into 16th place at 1-over 217.

The 72-hole tourney concludes today.
