Kootenai County Sheriff's Office changes concealed weapons permit hours

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office announced a change in the hours when it will process concealed weapons permit requests.

Effective Monday, July 10, concealed weapons permit requests will be processed Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“If you have already received a letter regarding your concealed weapons permit that directs you to return to the Sheriff’s Office outside our new hours, please respond according to the instructions you’ve received. We are happy to accommodate you during this transition period,” said a news release.
