Miller leads Lilac after first-day 62; Grove tied for 4th

Brian Miller shot a 10-under-par 62 to take a two-shot lead after the first round of the Lilac City Invitational on Thursday at The Fairways at West Terrace.

Corey Prugh of Manito is in second after an 8-under 64.

Russell Grove, North Idaho College men’s and women’s golf coach and 2013 Lilac champion, opened with a 68 and is tied for fourth. Connor Robbins of Prairie Falls also shot 68.

The 72-hole tourney runs through Sunday.
