HEALTH: Single-payer pitfalls

Regarding Saturday’s “My Turn” by Mike Joyce, I couldn’t agree more with his opinion regarding our health insurance for Americans. It is obviously apparent to any thinking American that the single pay for health insurance is the only way to go. This is backed by the way many Americans are clamoring to go to Canada, England and France for medical coverage. Of course, they may have to wait a year or two for a simple operation, but fortunately it is paid for by the government.
