Jarrod William Tanner, 41

Jarrod William Tanner was born May 17, 1976, to Roger and Kathy Tanner in Anchorage, Alaska, and passed away on July 1, 2017, in Bayview, Idaho.

Shortly after Jarrod was born the family returned to their home in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, where he grew up surrounded by family and friends. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, boyfriend and friend.

He is survived by his longtime girlfriend Callie Azeltine, her son Payton, and their dog Doc, all of whom reside in Athol; his parents Roger and Kathy Tanner of Coeur d’Alene; his sister and brother-in-law Ranee and Larry Woodall; and his niece and nephew Shelby and Alex Woodall of Coeur d’Alene. He also had a large extended family and many good friends.

He loved the fast and extreme: RZRing, snowmobiling, and boating. Everything Jarrod and his loyal companion Doc did was fast and extreme. Jarrod was a little rough around the edges, but he had a heart of gold. It was that heart that attracted so many good people into his life. He will be truly missed.

Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Jarrod’s life. Bring a chair and a dish to share at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the home of Clyde and Arles Tanner: 14713 Arbor St. in Rathdrum.
