Indians rally to top Hawks

BOISE — Andretty Cordero hit his third home run of the season, Ismel Lopez threw 4 1/3 innings of scoreless relief, and the Spokane Indians rallied for three runs in the ninth inning to beat the Boise Hawks 5-2 on Monday in Northwest League baseball before 4,444 at Memorial Stadium.
Cordero also had a two-RBI single in the ninth and went 2 for 4 with three RBIs, raising his batting average to .313.
Reiver Sanmartin started for the Indians on the mound, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs on 6 strikeouts.
Spokane (6-12) hosts Vancouver (11-7) tonight at 6:30 at Avista Stadium.
