Inoa provides some offense as Indians thump Hawks

BOISE — Cristain Inoa had a grand slam and finished with six RBIs to lead the Spokane Indians to a 13-6 win over the Boise Hawks on Sunday night in Northwest League baseball before 3,124 at Memorial Stadium.

Austin O’Banion had a double and two RBIs and Curtis Terry had three hits for the Indians, who scored nine runs in the fifth inning to take an 11-0 lead.

Spokane starter Tai Tiedemann went five innings, striking out 3 and allowing 5 hits but no runs to pick up the win and drop his ERA to 2.92. Dario Beltre threw two shutout innings to seal the win for the Indians (6-12), who face Boise (9-9) again tonight at Memorial Stadium at 6:15.
