Less than one hour after leaving a voice message for the Coeur d’Alene street department, a supervisor in a pickup truck and a plow with driver arrived to push very large ice berms away from and eliminate a pond that had developed in the street in front of the Cumberland Meadows mailbox kiosk that were hindering residents’ access to mail. Nowhere else in America would you receive such quick service from a city street department!
Thank you Street Department employees. We appreciate your work as we have all dealt with a rather difficult winter snow season.
