Woodland Meadows an affordable Hayden hotspot
Everything you need in Hayden can be found a short distance from Woodland Meadows, an established neighborhood within walking distance of core amenities.
“It’s one of the most affordable Hayden neighborhoods on the east side of Highway 95,” said Danielle Watson, a Realtor with John L. Scott Real Estate. “It’s very centralized.”
Located just east of Government Way between Honeysuckle Avenue and Prairie Avenue, Woodland Meadows is close to food, fun and premium outdoor spaces. The neighborhood is a short walk to things like the Hayden Post Office, or fajitas at Rancho Viejo, or $3 movies at the Hayden Discount Cinema. Just north off Government Way is access to Triple Play Family Fun Park and Raptor Reef Indoor Water Park, and the Hayden Walmart is only two traffic lights away.
Public access to Hayden Lake is just east at Honeysuckle Beach, with swimming and picnic areas, a volleyball court, public fishing dock and other amenities.
Even closer is Finucane Park, located just outside the neighborhood on the corner of Prairie Avenue and Fourth Street. The 10-acre park includes three baseball/softball fields, playground equipment, two covered gazebos and other amenities. The park is named after Charles C. Finucane, a naval commander during World War II.
Most homes in Woodland Meadows were built between 1992 and 1999, and Watson cited 13 homes sold in the neighborhood in the past six months. Average sales have been around the $250,000 mark. Average lot size runs about .3 of an acre. The CC&Rs and Homeowner’s Association also allows shops on neighborhood lots.
Currently there is one pending sale and one home available in Woodland Meadows. The available home is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom with just under, 1,700 square feet listed at $234,900.
