Notice of CDBG Consolidated 5-Year Plan Public Hearing The City of Coeur d'Alene will hold a Public Hearing before the Mayor and City Council to present the 2018-2022 Consolidated Plan goals, proposed activities, estimated funding the City expects to receive, and the expected beneficiaries of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). SECTION ONE ALSO AMENDS SECTION 9-1-2 OF THE CITY CODE TO ADOPT THE 2015 INTERNATIONAL EXISTING BUILDING CODE. SECTION ONE ALSO AMENDS SECTION 9-1-3 OF THE CITY CODE TO ADOPT THE 2015 INTERNATIONAL RESIDENTIAL CODE WITH CERTAIN AMENDMENTS. SECTION ONE ALSO AMENDS SECTION 9-1-4 OF THE CITY CODE TO ADOPT THE 2015 INTERNATIONAL ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE WITH CERTAIN AMENDMENTS. FINALLY, SECTION ONE AMENDS SECTION 9-1-14 OF THE CITY CODE TO PROVIDE THAT "ANY PERSON WHO SHALL VIOLATE ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE FOREGOING CODES HEREBY ADOPTED OR FAIL TO COMPLY THEREWITH, OR WHO SHALL VIOLATE OR FAIL TO COMPLY WITH ANY ORDER MADE PURSUANT TO THE FOREGOING CODES, OR WHO SHALL BUILD IN VIOLATION OF ANY DETAILED STATEMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS OR PLANS SUBMITTED AND APPROVED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOREGOING CODES OR ANY CERTIFICATE OR PERMIT ISSUED THEREUNDER SHALL SEVERALLY FOR EACH AND EVERY SUCH VIOLATION AND NONCOMPLIANCE RESPECTIVELY BE GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR, AND BE PUNISHABLE UNDER SECTION 1-4-1 OF THIS CODE. THE IMPOSITION OF ONE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION SHALL NOT EXCUSE THE VIOLATION NOR PERMIT IT TO CONTINUE; AND ALL SUCH PERSONS SHALL BE REQUIRED TO CORRECT OR REMEDY SUCH VIOLATIONS OR DEFECTS WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME AND WHEN NOT OTHERWISE SPECIFIED, EACH DAY THAT PROHIBITED CONDITIONS ARE MAINTAINED OR ALLOWED TO CONTINUE SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE OFFENSE." SECTION TWO PROVIDES FOR SEVERABILITY OF THE ORDINANCE SHOULD ANY PORTION OF THE ORDINANCE BE DECLARED INVALID BY A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION.
