WALLACE — Tyler Lohman and Jackson Pritchard scored 23 points each for the St. Maries Lumberjacks in a 89-83 double-overtime win over the Wallace Miners on Friday at Kirby Krulitz Court.

Wallace outscored St. Maries 26-11 in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

“I thought we played real hard,” Wallace coach Corey Miller said. “We just started to run out of players. We were down by as many as 20 in the third and rallied to come back. We never gave up and just kept playing one possession at a time.”

Glover Buell scored 13 points for St. Maries (3-0), which travels to Potlatch on Tuesday.

Zack Welch scored 28 points and Carter Bailey added 17 points for Wallace (2-3), which plays host to Priest River next Saturday.

Gutierrez finished with 19 points to lead Pasco, which hit 14 of 26 from 3-point range.

“Give Pasco credit, they shot the ball extremely well,” Lake City assistant coach Kelly Reed said. “Credit our guys for battling back. But you can’t make some of the mistakes we made in the first 3 1/2 quarter and expect to win.”

We gave up a lot of offensive rebounds. Our guys are doing a good job of playing hard, but did a bad job of boxing out.
