Eagle count continues to soar

The numbers are in from this week’s eagle count at Lake Coeur d’Alene — and they’re even higher than previous record-breaking counts.
Carrie Hugo, wildlife biologist with the Bureau of Land Management, counted 372 eagles on Thursday, up from 314 at the beginning of the month.
