Betty Lucille Fisher, 56
Betty Lucille Fisher, 56, of Post Falls, Idaho, passed away Dec. 4, 2017, at Kootenai Health, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Betty was born Oct. 16, 1961, in Yakima, Wash., to Gerald and Sharen (Coder) Meier. As a child, Betty moved with her family to Payette, Idaho, where she attended and graduated from Payette High School in 1979.
Betty met Kirk Fisher in high school, and a couple years after they graduated they found each other, and were later married on Aug. 21, 1982, in Payette. Together they had three sons. They later relocated to Coeur d’Alene for work. There she worked as a florist for 10 years, and eventually worked as a housekeeper.
Betty was a member of Word of Life Church. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, arranging flowers, doing makeup and hair, raising a vegetable garden and was a big cat lover.
She is survived by her loving husband, Kirk of the family home in Post Falls, Idaho; three sons, Jamie (Daniella) Fisher, of Boise, Idaho, Christopher Fisher, of Post Falls, Idaho and Tyler Fisher, of Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Jodi (Jake) Fullmer, of Nampa, Idaho; Kathy (Steve) Glenn, of Nyssa, Ore. and Karrie (Greg) Phelps, of Weiser, Idaho; five grandchildren, Toby, Natalie, Chasity, Kaylee and Aliesso and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her mother and one sister, Sharrie Sacchetta.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday Dec. 7, 2017, at 6701 N. Idaho Road, Newman Lake, WA 99025.
