SHERIFF'S LOG
The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office received 116 calls for service between 6 a.m.
Tuesday, Aug. 22, and 5:59 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23.
All individuals listed are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
INCIDENTS
A coffee table with an estimated value of $150 was reported stolen in the 1300 block of N. Highway 41 in Post Falls. Locks with an estimated total value of $25 were also reported damaged at the same location.
A black 1984 Chevrolet S-10 with an estimated value of $700 was reported stolen in the 6300 block of E. Highway 54 in Athol
Groceries with an estimated total value of $47 were reported stolen and recovered at a business in the 200 block of W. Hayden Avenue in Hayden
Mail with an estimated total value of $25 was reported stolen in the 3200 block of E. Hayden Lake Road in Hayden
A carrying bag, vehicle keys, clothing and a financial transaction card with an estimated total value of $500 was reported stolen at a business in the 27800 block of N. Highway 95 in Athol
A vehicle bumper with an estimated value of $400 was reported damaged in the 8500 block of N. Ramsey Road in Hayden
Vehicle windows were reported damaged in the 6500 block of N. Mt Carrol Street in Dalton Gardens, the 7000 block of N. 15th Street in Dalton Gardens, the 3200 and 5600 blocks of E. Hayden Lake Road in Hayden and in the 2800, 3500 and 4800 blocks of E. Upper Hayden Lake Road in Hayden. The estimated total damage for all reports combined is $4,000.
A scam call asking the recipient to call back or face arrest was reported in the 23500 block of N. Ponderosa Street in Athol
Indecent exposure and a battery were reported in the 35300 block of S. Highway 3 in St Maries
A battery was reported on N. Fernan Lake Road in Coeur d’Alene
Henry R. Nowak, 49, was arrested for driving under the influence near the intersection of N. Divot Avenue and N. Idaho Street in Post Falls
