Married to Harlan Hylton on Aug. 7, 1955, she had three children and lived in Naples, Idaho, farming and raising her family. Ethel significantly contributed to her community, running the 63-acre farm, building two houses and remodeling vintage buildings while in Naples. She divorced in 1993 and relocated to Post Falls. After moving to Post Falls, she worked at Bass Footwear and Telect Inc. while taking computer classes at night. Ethel’s last job was as Receptionist for Dickenson Insurance in Post Falls before retiring in 2007. She and Norman Schnider wed on Aug. 11, 2007. She enjoyed retirement snow birding between Arizona and Idaho with him.

Ethel loved baking, gardening, pinochle, board games, square dancing, biking, cross country skiing, attending Real Life Ministries and all her wonderful friendships.
